New Staff Training

Designed to take advantage of the unique opportunities that occur when starting a new role, this training covers core leadership concepts, dealing with organizational conflict, developing sustainable workplans, and more. It is two days and one overnight at the farm in China.

We aim to offer these trainings to as many people as possible to strengthen the progressive movement. While there are costs involved—staff time, food, venue rental, and materials—the fee we’re asking for covers the basics. However, we don’t want cost to be a barrier for anyone. If you can’t pay the full amount, simply pay what you can afford. And if you’re unable to pay at all, please apply anyway—we’ll do our best to accommodate you! If accepted into the program, the trainer will discuss with you about payment options and sliding fees.
