Maine People’s Alliance now offers a full slate of training opportunities.

Over the past few years, MPA has been working to better equip our staff and volunteers with the skills needed to drive social change. We now want to open it up to all our friends and allies so that we can build our skills together. All our curriculum is designed to foster leadership grounded in humility, self-discipline, and love, as outlined here.

Space is limited, so we encourage interested staff and volunteers to apply. Priority will be given to individuals most directly affected by issues of systemic injustice.

While there are costs associated with hosting these trainings—such as food, space, and staff time—we don’t want finances to prevent anyone from participating. Each training has a suggested contribution to cover basic expenses, such as meals. However, if you’re unable to pay the suggested amount, that’s completely fine! Simply indicate on the application how much you can contribute—even if that amount is $0.
