Join us at the State House for all things health! Some of the progress we hope to make this year: including more people in Maine Care, making sure health insurance claims aren’t denied by AI, and allowing communities to open harm reduction health centers (where people who use drugs can obtain needed care).<\/p>\n
We’ll start with some training: we’ll learn about the policies, how to have good lobbying conversations, how to find our way around the state house complex, and who we need to talk to, and why. Then we’ll seek out our legislators to persuade and gather intel. And finally, we’ll debrief over lunch to share what we’ve learned.<\/p>\n
