Designed particularly for communications staff and other staff or volunteers whose roles include creating and executing communications strategies, this training will cover why we do communications work and basics about the media. Staff and volunteers expected to understand communications strategies and play a role in their execution are also encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n

Because space is limited, we may not be able to accept everyone who applies. Please tell us a little bit about yourself and why you want to come to the training.<\/p>\n

We aim to offer these trainings to as many people as possible to strengthen the progressive movement. While there are costs involved\u2014staff time, food, venue rental, and materials\u2014the fee we\u2019re asking for covers the basics. However, we don\u2019t want cost to be a barrier for anyone. If you can\u2019t pay the full amount, simply pay what you can afford. And if you\u2019re unable to pay at all, please apply anyway\u2014we\u2019ll do our best to accommodate you! If accepted into the program, the trainer will discuss with you about payment options and sliding fees.<\/p>\n
