But now we are facing a state budget shortfall because for too long lawmakers have refused to make the richest Mainers pay their fair share\, and that puts vulnerable Mainers at risk. \nThis tax day\, we’re all about tax fairness. \nWe’ll start at 8:30 with some training: we’ll learn about what’s at stake in this year’s budget\, how to have good lobbying conversations\, how to find our way around the state house complex\, and who we need to talk to\, and why.
