SUMMARY:New Staff Training
DESCRIPTION:Designed to take advantage of the unique opportunities that occur when starting a new role\, this training covers core leadership concepts\, dealing with organizational conflict\, developing sustainable workplans\, and more. It is two days and one overnight at the farm in China. \nBecause space is limited\, we may not be able to accept everyone who applies. Please tell us a little bit about yourself and why you want to come to the training. Deadline to apply is Wednesday January 7th\, 2026. Apply here! Cost is $200 per person. \nWe aim to offer these trainings to as many people as possible to strengthen the progressive movement. While there are costs involved—staff time\, food\, venue rental\, and materials—the fee we’re asking for covers the basics. However\, we don’t want cost to be a barrier for anyone. If you can’t pay the full amount\, simply pay what you can afford. And if you’re unable to pay at all\, please apply anyway—we’ll do our best to accommodate you! If accepted into the program\, the trainer will discuss with you about payment options and sliding fees.
