SUMMARY:Manager Training
DESCRIPTION:Open to seasoned managers and those stepping into management roles for the first time. Learn what it takes to manage effective teams and get stuff done\, and how to bring progressive values into your leadership approach. This training will be two days and one overnight at MPA’s China house. \nBecause space is limited\, we may not be able to accept everyone who applies. Please tell us a little bit about yourself and why you want to come to the training. \nWe aim to offer these trainings to as many people as possible to strengthen the progressive movement. While there are costs involved—staff time\, food\, venue rental\, and materials—the fee we’re asking for covers the basics. However\, we don’t want cost to be a barrier for anyone. If you can’t pay the full amount\, simply pay what you can afford. And if you’re unable to pay at all\, please apply anyway—we’ll do our best to accommodate you! If accepted into the program\, the trainer will discuss with you about payment options and sliding fees. \nApply here! Deadline to apply is Thursday\, October 9\, 2025.
